What if we redefine prosperity?Jul 08, 2020
"Mommy, are we poor?"
It was not long after the financial crisis of 2008. Our daughter had returned to her pre-school class after the holidays and the kids had been talking about all the presents they had received for Christmas.
I had recently released the first edition of my book, "What If It All Goes RIGHT?". The financial meltdown hit us hard, but we knew people needed this message and we were passionate about bringing it to the world.
I looked my daughter in the eyes and told her the truth:
"Honey, we are some of the richest people I know."
What if we take the time to reflect upon what it really means to live a rich life?
What if our financial well-being begins with our mental, emotional and spiritual well-being?
What if we measure our abundance not by what we have, but by what we have to give?
I've heard it said that the best way to get rich quick is to count your blessings.
This #WhatIfWednesday, the focus is on cultivating a healthy relationship with money. We're looking at our limiting beliefs about money, and consciously crafting our internal story about who we are in relationship to our finances.
Join me in our #WhatIfUP Facebook Community this week as we playfully step into a transformational month of personal economic growth.
