An ancient tradition of remembering...Oct 30, 2019
We are fast approaching one of my favorite times of the year...
While so many of us here in the United States are preparing for Halloween, down in Mexico there is an another ancient tradition beginning this week.
It is a tradition of remembering, celebrating, and reconnecting with the love and wisdom of our ancestors.
The Day of the Dead. Dia de los Muertos.
What if we join the celebration with a few days of sacred reflection?
What if we honor not just our family of birth, but also our family of choice, our spiritual family...?
What if we celebrate the people who have loved us, cared for us in our times of need, taught us, mentored us and believed in us at times more than we believed in ourselves?
There is so much on the horizon for our "What If UP" family. I'm excited to share it with you as we head into the holiday season.
But before we launch into what's new, I'm inspired this week to slow down and live it UP in a "Gratitude Fiesta" for all that has been...
Thank YOU for being part of this dialogue of possibility. YOU are a conduit for hope, innovation and transformation for the future.
This week, let's celebrate where we have been, and remember the ones who brought us here.
The future awaits us, and our ancestors are cheering us on. Can you hear them?
With joy and wonder,
Author of "What If It All Goes RIGHT?"
